Hi everyone! Today I want to share a fun mini album using the gorgeous Graphic 45 An Eerie Tale 8×8 paper collection. Love this collection! I used some of the chipboard elements as well as the tags and pockets. The gorgeous burlap flowers are from Petaloo.
Thanks for watching!
Hello everyone! Today is my day to post on the Miss Kate Cuttables blog. Now that the kids are back in school I wanted to create a fall project. I found some great fall svg files on the Miss Kate website. Her files are simply the best!
I used two files for my card. I used the fall flowers file and the fall word titles file. My fun woodgrain background paper is from Stampin Up as well as all of the solid card stock.
That’s my card! Thanks for looking! Make sure you go check out all of the awesome svg files over at Miss Kate Cuttables!
Hello everyone and welcome to day 2 of the Graphic 45 and Petaloo Blog Hop.
For my project I created a really fun Halloween banner. I used the Graphic 45 Eerie Tale paper collection along with some gorgeous Petaloo flowers. The colors of the Petaloo flowers matched the paper collection perfectly.
For the base of my banner I used the black ATC staples tags from Graphic 45. I spelled the word spooky using some alpha stickers from the Eerie Tale paper collection. I added several of the flowers to each of the tags.
I had a some leftover papers so I created a few treat bags to go along with my Spooky Banner.
That’s my project! Make sure you stop by the Graphic 45 blog and the Petaloo blog every day this week for some great Halloween inspiration. Make sure you leave a comment on their blogs to be eligible for some awesome prizes!.
Hi everyone! Today I have a cute card to share with you using a super cute file from Miss Kate Cuttables called Reading Owl.
My card measures 4-1/4 x5-1/2. I used Crumb Cake Cardstock from Stampin Up for the base, then layered a solid black mat on top. I used another piece of Crumb Cake and embossed it with a cute embossing folder that had clouds on it.
I did some faux stitching around the owl’s book and added some stickers to the front. The strip of design paper is from the Garden Party 6×6 paper pad by Pebbles Inc.
I added some Tangerine Tango twine from Stampin Up to the front and tied a double bow. The inside sentiment is from the This & That stamp set by CardzTv.
Thanks for looking! Have a great week!
Hello everyone. Today I have a card to share with you using the new rereleased Graphic 45 Times Nouveau Paper Collection.
My card measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. I layered together some solid cardstock along with the design paper to the front of the card. I added dimension to my card by cutting some fun foam to size and glueing it to the back of my layers. This is a great way to add dimension to a larger space instead of using a bunch of pop dots.
I fussy cut the pear from the paper and added it to the center of the card. I used some Maya Road chunky twine to the front and tied a bow. I added a button and some ivory twine to the center.
I added some of the cherries that I fussy cut from the design paper to the inside of my card. I inked around the edges with vintage photo distress ink. The sentiments are stamped using the This & That stamp set from CardzTv.
Have a great week!
Just a quick project to share with you. Yes another folio! I think I’m addicted to creating these little things! I used a mini theme kit from Echo Park.
Thanks for watching!!
I’ve had some requests about how we do videos. My husband takes care of the technical stuff. I’m the creative talent, so I’ll let him explain. He promised to keep it short.
We use an iPhone 5s as our video camera. It shoots 1080p HD and does extremely well in low light. That’s important because we only shoot in natural light – the color is more accurate.
A Glif holds the iPhone and attaches to a tripod.
The tripod is a pro model – Vanguard Alta Pro 263AB 100 Aluminum Tripod – with a center post that can be set horizontally, allowing the iPhone to be positioned directly above the scrapbook or card.
We use a condenser microphone – Blue Microphones Snowball USB Microphone (Electric Blue) – to improve the sound quality. It comes in colors besides electric blue. (My wife wanted pink.)
The microphone doesn’t plug directly into the iPhone 5s, so we purchased a Lightning to USB Camera Adapter.
iMovie software is used to produce the final video. It comes free with every Mac.
