MCT 113th Edition Sneak Peek Day 3

MCT 113th Edition Sneak Peek Day 3

Hey everyone today is Day 3 of sneak peeks for MCT. Today we are sneaking a really fun new treat topper die. I decided to show another way to use this adorable die so instead of treat toppers I used the die and made some pretty fall tags.
MCT Sneak Peek Day 3 - pumpkin treat topper
I added some fun little mini bows to each of my pretty pumpkins. I used the leaf die from the pumpkin lollipop holder die and added some stickles for sparkle. This die makes a great tag because the front and back of the tag are finished. I’m thinking this would be a pretty fall banner too!

Tag It Tuesday – Thanks a Bunch

Tag It Tuesday – Thanks a Bunch

Hello everyone! Today is Tag it Tuesday over on the MCT blog. Today is all about tags. I decided to create a little fall themed thank you tag.
Thanks a Bunch fall tag
The base of my tag uses the largest tag from the Chunky Stitched Tag dies. I cut the base from brown cardstock and the stitched layer from some plaid paper from Doodlebug. I added some fun fall colored leaves using the Little Stitched Leaves die.
Thanks a Bunch fall tag closeup
I used one of the doilies from the Bunch of Stitched Doily dies as a background to stamp my sentiment. The sentiment comes from the Lots of Greetings stamp set. I stamped the sentiment with versa mark ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. I added a hole reinforcer at the top and tied some gold glitter ribbon with some ivory jute string to the top.
Thanks a Bunch fall tag 2
There you have it! A fun fall tag that would look really cut attached to some baked goods. Have a fabulous day!

Fall Banner

Fall Banner

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing a cute little banner that I created for Fall. The papers are from Doodlebug and all of the dies are from My Creative Time.
Fall Banner
For the base of my banner I used the More Chunky Stitched Tags dies. I cut the largest tag from brown cardstock and then the largest stitched tag from Doodlebug paper. I added some fun solid leaves that coordinated with the design paper using the little stitched leaves die.

I spelled out the word FALL using the ABC dies. I cut the shadow portion with the solid brown and then the letters from some more of the Doodlebug design paper. I added a small doily behind the letters. I used the bunch of stitched doily dies which is one of my favorite sets of all time.

I used some fun brown ribbon to string the banners on. I decided to use the fun size holiday bow die a spacers between the letters. I just glued them to the ribbon with hot glue.

I added almost of the elements to the banner with foam adhesive.

PDE Linky Party All Cards

PDE Linky Party All Cards

Hello everyone! It’s time for another challenge at PDE Linky Party! This time the challenge is “All Cards”. Here’s what I created.
thanks-a-bushel-card

I used a cute little stamp and die set from Lawn Fawn called “Thanks a Bushel”. I stamped the apples in the basket twice. Once on white cardstock and once on kraft. I colored in my apples on the white cardstock with my Zig Clean Color brush markers, then trimmed the basket portion from the kraft stamped image and layered it onto the white stamped image with foam tape. I used some solid brown cardstock for the base of my card. I used some plaid paper from Lawn Fawn for the background and die cut it with a cross stitch rectangle die that is also from Lawn Fawn. I used a stitched border die to create a little hill for the basf apples to sit on. Here’s a closeup of the front.

I stamped the sentiment in versa mark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I added a few sequins and some twine to finish off the front of the card.
I stamped another sentiment from the same stamp set on the inside of my card.

thanks-a-bushel-inside
I layered a strip of the plaid paper on the inside as well just to finish it off.
There you have my card for the challenge! I hope you decide to join us at PDE Linky Party!
Have a great weekend!
