Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Banner

Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Banner

Hi everyone! I just wanted share a banner I created for my sister who is hosting a Shop Hop retreat. (click image to expand)

I created this banner using the fabulous Graphic 45 Botanical tea 12×12 papers as well as some of the chipboard elements and the 6×6 paper pad.

I added some gorgeous crocheted doilies from my stash that I got from Julie the Paper Bag Lady. I love these doilies!

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the word welcome and all of the letters to spell Shop Hop. I also used a background svg file from Miss Kate Cuttables for the scalloped circles behind the letters.

It cut my banner shape from medium weight chipboard and covered them with the design papers. I then attached the banner pieces to some extra wide burlap trim. I tied small jute bows in between the banner pieces.

That’s my project. I’m off to the retreat at SimpLee Memories to do a couple of fun make-n-takes for the ladies.

Have a fabulous weekend!

Recollections Surfs Up Mini Album

Recollections Surfs Up Mini Album

Hello everyone. My daughter and her husband took a vacation to Maui. Here’s the mini album I created for them using the Recollections Surfs Up paper stack. I used a tutorial from Kathy Orta. I needed a mini album that would hold a bunch of pictures and this mini album from Kathy does the trick.

Miss Kate Cuttables Love Soccer Scrapbook Page

Miss Kate Cuttables Love Soccer Scrapbook Page

Hi everyone! Today is my day to post over on the Miss Kate Cuttables blog. Make sure you check out the freebie of the day while you are there.

For my project I wanted to create a scrapbook page layout of my grandson. He is playing soccer this summer so I found some really cute sport files on the Miss Kate website.

I used two different files to create my layout. For my title I used the Love Soccer title file and for the other images I used the Soccer Kicks file.

Here’s the layout that I created for my grandson’s scrapbook.

I cut the files out in my grandsons team colors. I love the little mvp trading card image from the soccer kicks file. Since it was the end of the first session they each got a little trophy so the trophy image was fun to add to the layout.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week!
