Hello everyone. Here’s another fun project using the gorgeous Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments 8×8 paper collection. My inspiration for this project came from Papercrafter 45. The flowers came from Lavish Laces.

Hello everyone! I just want to share some exciting news! I made the first round of thirty finalists for the Graphic 45 2014 Design Team Audition. I just want to say thank you to everyone for all of the words of encouragement. I feel so honored and humbled. Thank you so much!
Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by. Today I have a fun card to share with you using this really cute file from Miss Kate Cuttables.
I thought it would be fun to make a birthday card with this file but how cute would this be in Christmas colors or maybe for a wedding or baby shower?
My card measures 4-1/4×5-1/2. I used crumb cake for the card base and layered on some pink card stock and some fun plaid designer paper from the DCWV Celebration stack. I added a die cut doily to the front then layered on my cute birthday present. I used Bo Bunny double dot papers for the present and two different shades of pink for the bow.
That’s it! Thanks for looking!
Hello everyone! Well, like several of you I love Graphic 45. The papers are just amazing. This year I decided to try out for their design team. I have always wanted to but never did. This year however I decided to give it a try. So here are the six projects that I would like to share with you that hopefully showcases my design strengths and style.
Up first is an altered balsa box. I wanted the box to resemble a small camera. I painted the edges of the box with black craft paint and used the fabulous Typography papers to decorate the outside of the box. I also used some lightweight chipboard and corrugated cardstock to create a little handle on top of the box. I added some buttons, lace trim, and flowers to the front as well. I added a little touch of gold rub and buff to the edges.
On the back I added some metal embellishments and a small hitch fastener.
Inside the box I created a small little photo album. The pages are created from black lightweight chipboard. I attached the pages together with some extra large eyelets and a piece of ball chain.
For my next project I created this adorable little chipboard dress wall hanging. I used the pretty papers from the Spring Garden collection to cover the dress then added some pleated chiffon trim to the bottom edges. I also used a small portion of the trim along the edges of the sleeves.
I added some flat back pearls around the collar of the dress and inked all of the edges with tea dye distress ink. I finished the little dress by adding some hand dyed seam binding and rose to the sides.
The next project is a mini album. I used the wonderfully fun Mother Goose papers for this project. The bright colors in this paper line are amazing. I layered some of the labels and tags from the paper collection on the front cover. I kept the front cover simple with just a button and alphabet stickers. The imagery in the papers is absolute fun.
On the inside of the mini album there are lots of fun pockets and hidden places for tags and photos. The pages are all created with solid black cardstock and then matted with the beautiful papers from the collection.
For project number four I used the Sweet Sentiments collection. I created a small little card wallet. I added some crochet trim and layered some flowers onto one of the postcards from the collection.
Inside there are several places for some little tags and photos. This project is thin but has several pockets and pull outs and the beautiful spring colors are amazing.
For my next project I used the Couture collection and created a 5×5 pocket style card. I used one of the cut outs from the paper collection and layered it on top of a die cut doily. I used lots of dimensional foam tape to add some depth. I added a small memo pin and little hand mirror charm along with some gorgeous flowers.
At the top is some hand dyed sea binding that allows you to pull out the large tag. I used some ivory cardstock layered on top of the design papers so you can add a sentiment to the recipient. I added some twine and a small black bead charm to the center of the bow.
For my last project I used the fabulous Typography paper line to create this mini album. On the front cover I layered several of the cut outs from the collection along with some beautiful flowers and metal embellishments. Of course I had to add a typewriter to the front as well.
Here I added another cutout from the paper collection to the spine of the book. This paper is amazing!
The inside pages are created from some Kraft colored paper bags. I trimmed the paper bags down so the pages would be square. I layered the bags first with black cardstock then added my design paper. I used lots of the cut outs from the paper. Since the pages are constructed of paper bags, there is a pocket at the end of each page.
The pages are small but there is still room for some tags and fun metal embellishments.
I even added one of the smaller cutouts to the back cover. Just to keep with the fun theme of this paper collection.
There are my six projects that I created for the Graphic 45 Design Team 2014 Audition.
Thanks for looking! Wish me luck!
Hello everyone! I want to share a little mini album I created using the gorgeous Tim Holtz Wallflower papers. I used the paper that had all of the ATC size prints on it to create this mini. This little mini album measures 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 inches.
