Happy Weekend!!  Today is a very special day because we celebrating the release of a very special stamp set at Cardz TV Stamps!

Today we are introducing to you the brand new BREW HAHA Stamp Set. Why is this stamp set so special, you ask? Well, I’m glad you asked! The BREW HAHA  Stamp set is so special because the entire Cardz TV Stamps Design Team helped come up with the stamp sayings. We had so much for brainstorming and working together on this, and we know you are going to enjoy the versatility and wide variety of stamp sayings as much as we love them! So grab your cup of cocoa, java, or simmered tea and come hop along with us!

For my project I created a shaped card. I used the Cricut From My Kitchen cartridge. Using the shadow feature I cut the coffee pot at 4-1/4 inches. I wanted my handle on the coffee pot to be on the left so I used the flip button on my cricut to do this. My design paper is from October Afternoon’s Thrift Shoppe collection.

I cut out several layers and added them to the coffee pot. I stamped my sentiment on the front of my card with Timber Brown Staz-on.

Brew Ha Ha 2

I added some dyed seam binding and a button to the handle. I also added a piece of rick rack and a couple of buttons to the bottom of the pot.

“Color Me Happy” Cardztv Stamps Challenge

“Color Me Happy” Cardztv Stamps Challenge
“Color Me Happy” Cardztv Stamps Challenge

Hey everyone! Here is the card I created as part of the Cardztv Stamps Design Team. The challenge was “Color Me Happy.” Create a card, layout, or project using the colors marigold yellow, royal blue, rich purple, and gray only. You can also use some white and black.

For my card I used the Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge for my cute pirate Octopus and my sentiment came from the “A Day at the Beach” Cardztv Stamp set.

Color Me Happy

My card measures 5×7. The first mat is gray and it measures 4-3/4 x 6-3/4. The second mat is royal blue and it measures 4-1/2 x 6-1/2. The third mat is marigold yellow and measures 4-1/4 x 6-1/4. I then added a background mat for the octopus which is royal blue and marigold yellow. The royal blue mat is 4×4 and the marigold yellow is 3-3/4 x 3-3/4.

I cut my octopus out in rich purple. The cardstock is from Bazzill and it is embossed with small dots. The octopus and all of the layers were cut at 4 inches. I used a white gel pen on the telescope to add some small dash lines and put him on an Action Wobble.

I stamped my “Ahoy!” sentiment on a small piece of white cardstock using Black Stazon. I then layered my sentiment onto a small piece of royal blue cardstock that I had cut out a notch on one end to make it look like a flag. I added a piece of royal blue satin ribbon and some rich purple buttons to finish off the front.

Well that’s my card. Come join the fun over at Cardztv for this super fun color challenge!

American Girl Doll Outfit

Hello everyone! Today I have a project to share with you, however, it’s not a papercraft project. My granddaughter has been wanting some new clothes for her American Girl Doll. So I scoured the internet and found a great website that has some really cute patterns to make clothes for your American Girl doll. I purchased a couple of the patterns and created this little outfit.

I really like the denim jacket and the pleated skirt. And yes, I even made the t-shirt that is under the denim jacket.

I recycled an old pair of jeans to create the denim jacket. The skirt was from some fabric that I had in my stash. Yes, I have a fabric stash!

Thanks for looking! Make sure and check out Liberty Jane Patterns.

Hey everyone! Here is another card that I created using the Cricut Create A Critter Cartridge, Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge, and Cardztv Stamps. The stamp set is called Going Buggy. This stamp set is tons of fun.

My card measures 5 x 6-1/2 inches. The base is ivory and the black mat is cut at 4-3/4 x 6-1/4 inches. The blue chevron design paper is cut at 4-1/2 x 6 inches. I then cut another black mat that measures 3-1/2 x 5 inches. The yellow striped mat is 3-1/4 x 4-3/4 inches.

I used Elegant Edges to cut out the label. I cut the label and the shadow at 3-1/2 inches. I then cut my cute little bee from Create A Critter. I cut him out at 4 inches. I added some black diamond stickles to his antanne, eyes, and stinger to give him a little sparkle. I stamped my sentiment at the top.

I think the card turned out pretty cute. The design paper for this card was from GCD Studios.

Thanks for looking! Have a great week!

You Go Girl Card

You Go Girl Card

Hello everyone! I have another card to share with you today. I used the Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge for the cute little bird and a sentiment from the Cardztv stamp set “It’s All About You”.

My card base is ivory cardstock and measures 5 x 6-1/4 inches. The design paper is from the Prima Madeline Collection. The solid pink embossed cardstock is from Bazzill.

You Go Girl Card

I cut the cute bird out at 4-1/2 inches. I added a large bling to the center of her flower. I decided she needed a cute purse so I added that as well. I punched out a scallop circle and then stamped my sentiment on a punched circle and layered them together. I wrapped the bottom of the card with some hot pink twine from The Twinery and added a pink sparkly button from Bazzill Basics.

I think it turned out pretty cute and I thought the sentiment went really well with the image.

Have a great day!

You’re The Best Card

You’re The Best Card

Hello everyone! Today I want to share a card that I created using a great stamp set from Cardztv Stamps. The stamp set is “It’s All About You“.

My card measures 4-1/4 x4-1/4. I used a piece of kraft cardstock for the base of my card. The next layer measures 4-1/8 x 4-1/8 and is cut from a golden yellow cardstock. I added another black mat that measures 3-7/8 x 3-7/8. I added the black so my design paper would really show up. I then added my design paper which measures 3-3/4 x 3-3/4. The design paper is from October Afternoon’s 9-5 Collection.

You're The Best Card

For the flower I cut several different sizes of a flower from the Cricut Mothers Day Bouquet Cartridge using white cardstock. I used my Tim Holtz distress inks in Scattered Straw and Wild Honey to add color to the flower. I added a brown brad to the center of the flower. I punched out a couple of leaves from the kraft cardstock using my Martha Stewart rose leaf punch.

I stamped my sentiment “You’re the Best!” on the yellow cardstock using Walnut Stain distress ink.

I think the card turned out pretty cute. Let me know what you think! Have a great week!
