Hello everyone! Today I want to share a pop up card that I created for my sisters’ birthday. I used the beautiful Graphic 45 Off to the Races Collection for my card and matching envelope.
I used my envelope punch board to create an A6 envelope. I made a belly band closure since my card was a little bulky. I used a punch for the scallop circle and then added one of the banners to the front from the collection. I used paper from the 12×12 patterns and solids for the envelope. Here’s a closeup of the envelope.
My pop up card measures 4×6. I used one of the journal cards for the front image and layered it up with lots of dimensional foam tape. I added some clear Wink if Stella for some sparkle. Some little metal corners were added to the top and a pretty Prima flower along the bottom. I added a small piece of adhesive back crochet trim from May Arts as well.
The magic happens when you open the card to reveal the pop up. I used some of the gorgeous lady portraits for the pop up and die cut my happy birthday sentiment using the Tim Holtz Celebrate framelits.
Here’s another view of the inside.
There you have it! That’s the card I created for my sister. She loved it! Have a great day!
Hello everyone! Today I want to share a fun tag that I created for the PDE Linky Party challenge. This week the challenge is All Tags. Here’s the tag that I created.
I used a really cute die set from Stephanie Barnard. It’s a cute pocket tag that will hold a gift card. I used some Stampin’ Up Early Espresso cardstock for the base of the tag and some design papers from the Echo Park 6×6 Fall is in the Air paper pad.
I used a cute little Owl Doodlepop for the center of my tag. I added a layer of green cardstock to create a little hill for the owl to stand on. I added some bling and ribbon to the top to finish it off.
I die cut the word enjoy, which is from a set of word dies by Tim Holtz, and added it to the back of the tag.
There you have it! That’s my tag. I hope you will join us at PDE Linky Party! Have a great weekend!
Hello everyone! Happy Friday! Today is the day for another challenge at PDE Linky Party. The challenge this time is “Anything but a Card”. I decided to create a fun FALL banner using a leaf chipboard mini album that I had in my stash. Here’s my banner.
I painted the leaves with a bunch of different paints from my stash. I did use the Tim Holtz copper paint and lots of distress ink. I used a wide black Copic marker to go around the edges of the leaves. I die cut several circles and doilies using the Graphic 45 Safari Adventure 6×6 patterns and solids.
I used some Lawn Fawn leaf dies and the Stampin Up Acorn Builder punch as well. I cut out the letters on my Cricut Explore Air using the papers from Graphic 45 Safari Adventure 6×6 patterns and solids. I used some gold thread to attach the leaves together and tied some bows with some May Arts jute string.
Here are photos of each letter.
That’s my banner! I hope you will join the fun and link up your project at PDE Linky Party. Have a great weekend!
Hello everyone! Today I would like to share a fun altered mini clipboard from Tim Holtz. I used some gorgeous metals from ButterBee Scraps and some beautiful papers from Graphic 45 Cityscapes collection. Thanks for watching!
Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by. Today I want to share a couple of tags that I created to celebrate someone’s birthday!.
To create my tags I used a really great die set from My Creative Time. I’ve wanted this die set for a long time so I was when I finally got it I had to make something!. I got the actual two different dies as well as the layers for the dies. Here’s a closeup.
The design paper is from Stampin Up. I love the cute little ric-rak trim piece along the bottom. This is also part of the die set. The word celebrate is actually from another word die set by Tim Holtz.
Here’s a closeup of the other tag.
For this cute tag I added another smaller little stamp and die set from My Creative Time layered on the top. I added some striped grosgrain ribbon through the hole at the top of each tag and some white bakers twine. I really like how they turned out! And I really love this new die set! Have a great weekend!

Hello everyone! Today I want to share my first project for the Miss Kate blog for 2015. I decided to create a fun shaped card using a super cute file called Puppy Love.
All of the elements in this file are adorable! I decided to use the fire hydrant as the base for my shaped card.
I added the fun little paw prints as well as the doggy bone to the front of my card with some dimensional adhesive.
I stamped the sentiment “special delivery” from the CardzTV stamp set “Snail Mail”. I added some faux stitching with a white gel pen and inked around all of the edges with walnut stain distress ink from Tim Holtz.
That’s my card! Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!
Hello everyone! Happy New Year’s Eve! Today I have another calendar project to share with you that I created for Graphic 45. I used their gorgeous Time to Flourish papers as well as a few papers from their Couture Collection.
I found this unfinished wood block style calendar at my local craft store. It is from Darice. Here is a photo of what it looked like before I altered it.
I wanted my calendar to have a taller back so I used one of the tags from the Graphic 45 Regular Black Tag Album and trimmed it down to size. I painted all of the edges of the calendar with black craft paint and then used Beacons Fast Decoupage Finish to adhere my papers. I added the month titles to the smaller blocks.
I used the number stickers from the Time to Flourish Sticker Sheet for the dates.
I used some of the Tim Holtz metal feet to the bottom of my calendar. I used one of the chipboard frames from the collection as well as some flowers to the back of the calendar. I applied the Beacons Fast Finish Decoupage over the entire project to seal everything.
I really like how it turned out. This paper collection is simply stunning. Have a great week!
Happy New Year!
I thought this image would look really cute with a pullout tag coming from the top of the barrel. So here’s what I created.
And here is the pullout tag.
This project was really easy to create. I just cut another basket base for the back of the card. I embossed the first basket base using the Cuttlebug fabric swatch embossing folder. Then I inked over the embossing with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. Then I trimmed off the top portion and add the next layer. I did add some small eyelets just to give it some more texture to the trim pieces.
Then I glued this onto the other basket base just around the edges so I could create a tag and slip it into the basket. The leaves from the cut file were added to the top of the tag. I did cut a couple of extra leaves to add to the front of the basket.
I stamped my title label on the front of the basket and then stamped my sentiment on the tag. I also added some ivory yardstick to the back of my tag so you could sign your tag card.
That’s my project! Have a great week!

Hello everyone! Today is my day to post on the Miss Kate blog today. I decided to create a small fall project using a really great file called Fall Fun.
I decided this image would look great on one of the Graphic 45 Staples Kraft Tags. I cut out the fall fun file with my Cameo using some solid card stock from my stash. I layered on design papers from Graphic 45’s An Eerie Tale 6×6 paper pad.
I added some metal from Butter Bee Scraps and layered on one of the Cardstock flowers from the Eerie Tale collection to the top corner. I inked around my die cut image with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink.
I used some dimensional adhesive when I put together my die cuts. I added some ribbon from May Arts to the top of my tag and stamped Fall Harvest using CardzTv stamp set Fall Fun. That stamp set and this file from Miss Kate were made for each other! Love it!
Well that’s my project! I really like how it turned out. This file would be great for Thanksgiving decor. Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous week!
