Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Thankful for Fall Blog Hop!
This hop is all about the beauty of Fall and being thankful for what we do have. Enjoy the creativity, get inspired, share some crafty love, and then randomly thank some one.
There are nine stops and you won’t want to miss any of them! If you are here from Michelle’s blog then you are in the right place. If you just happened onto my blog today and would like to join us, then start at Carson’s Creations ~ Georgiana’s blog. There is also a complete line-up at the end of this post just in case you need it.
What would a hop be without Blog Candy?!?! Since each of use are thankful for our crafty friends, each blog has a bit of candy that needs to be won. Thank goodness for candy!
And Here’s How:
Be sure to be a FOLLOWER and COMMENT on each blog.
If you are a follower, your comment could be randomly drawn to win some fantastic prizes! Read each blog post carefully to see what is being offered at each stop along the way!
Here’s what I created for the blog hop.
Here is a short video showing the inside of my mini album.
My prize for the blog hop is going to be my mini album that I created for the hop! To enter just leave me a comment. I will pick a random winner. Remember to leave your comment on this blog post no later than 5:00 pm Sunday, November 20th. I will announce my winner on Monday, November 21.
Here’s the complete hop line-up in case you need to start at the beginning! Enjoy!
Hello everyone! Happy Friday! That means it’s time for another challenge at PDE Linky Party. The challenge this week is Anything But a Card! I got a new die set designed by Lori Whitlock for Sizzix and wanted to use it for my project this week. It’s a really cute 3D mini lantern. Here’s my project.
I die cut the lantern with some brown cardstock and then used another new die set I had from Lawn Fawn to cut the leaves. I used the Stampin Up Acorn punch for the little acorn and then added some May Arts twine. I used the CardzTv stamp set Thankful for Fall for the sentiment across the front.
I think that’s my new favorite die set for leaves. The little lantern will fit a small battery operated tea light through the top. I used some mini brads to attach the little handle.
That my project for this weeks challenge. I hope you will decide to play along! Here’s a quick photo of the die and stamp sets that I used in my project.
Hello everyone! Today I have a card to share with you. I created this card using the Create A Critter 2 Cartridge.
My kraft colored card base measures 5×5. The dark brown mat measures 4-3/4 x 4-3/4 inches. I layered a piece of acorn paper from the Authentique Thankful Collection on top of the brown. The acorn paper measures 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 inches.
I then added another brown mat which is 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches. Next is another piece of plaid paper from the Authentique Thankful collection. It measures 3×3.
I cut my cute little Indian bear at 3 inches. I added some black gems for the bears’ nose and eyes to make them sparkle. I added four little acrylic maple leaves to each corner and stamped my sentiment, “Happy Harvest” in the bottom right corner.
The sentiment is from the “Thankful For You” stamp set by CardzTv.
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Today I have a quick little card to share with you. The card base measures 4×4. The design paper on the front measures 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 and is from the Authentique Thankful Collection.
The cute little turkey on the front is created out of ribbon. I learned how to make this from one of the design team members at my local scrapbook store. Don’t you just love the google eyes?
I stamped the sentiment on cream Cardstock and punched it out and layered it onto another larger circle using dimensional adhesive.
