Hello everyone! Today I want to share the valentines that I created for my grandkids. For my granddaughters card I used a really fun svg file from Lori Whitlock. Here’s the card I made for my granddaughter.
Here’s the card when it’s open. It’s a fun pop out card. I used my Cricut Explore Air2 to cut out this card. I even used the writing feature to write the sentiment.
For my grandsons card I decided to create the card without using the file. I did cut out a cute bee from Miss Kate Cuttables.
I used a couple of stamp sets from CardzTv to stamp the sentiment on the inside.
There you have it! I need to get these in the mail so they can receive them on time. Have a great weekend!
Hello everyone! Today I want to share a card that I created for Mary’s challenge over at CardzTv. Here’s the challenge…
Cardz TV Sketch Designers Challenge #2
Create a card for Fall using Sketch #3 or #4.
For my card I used Sketch #3. You can get Mary’s sketches from her blog.
Here’s my card. I wanted my card to be a different size so I used the sketch without the measurements.
My fun design papers are from Lawn Fawn called Perfectly Plaid Fall. My little Pumpkin Owl is from Miss Kate Cuttables.
Here’s a closeup of my card.
I used my new favorite leaf die from Lawn Fawn for the leaves. I used the CardzTv stamp set Thankful for You for my sentiment. I left the inside blank but decided to add a few more die cut leaves.
That’s my card for Mary’s challenge. You should check it out and play along! Have a great day!
I decided to create a shaped card using the half watermelon. I also thought it would be fun if it was a shaker card. Here’s my watermelon shaker card.
The card measures approximately 4-1/4 inches. For the shaker part of the card I used some black and clear sequins as the watermelon seeds. Whenever I create a shaker card I like to cut multiple layers and stack them so I don’t have to use foam adhesive.
The sentiment for my card came from the CardzTv stamp set Fun in the Sun. I stamped the sentiment in black and added a couple of black sequins to the sentiment banner as well.
That’s my card for today. Thanks to Miss Kate Cuttables for allowing me to be a guest designer for them. Love me some Miss Kate’s! Have a great day!!
Hello everyone! To day I want to share a couple of Valentine cards that I created for my two grandkids. I used a cute robot files from It’s Kate Cuttables. I used the boy robot and the girl robot files. I cut the images using the print and cut feature on my Cricut Explore Air.
The sentiments are stamped using two sets of stamps from CardzTv. I used the Hugs and Kisses stamp set for the outside of the card and I used the Happy Days set for the inside of the card.
Thanks for watching!
I am entering these cards in the CardzTv Challenge #1-Valentine Card
Hello everyone! Today I want to share a really quick and easy Valentine card using the Penguin Valentine file from Miss Kate Cuttables. I was asked if I would like to participate in a Valentine card challenge that Mel from Mel B’s Creations is having. Here is the link to her “Operation Valentine’s” video giving all the details!
This is a great way to show some Valentine love to kids in the hospital.
Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by. Today I want to share a card that I created for the Miss Kate Cuttables blog. I used one of the cute snow globe files to make a shaker card.
Here’s the front of my card.
My card measures 5-1/2×7-1/4. I didn’t use all of the cuts from the snow globe file because I wanted to make a shaker card. I used my Cricut Explore Air to do this. I love how you can manipulate files to create just exactly what you want. I added some chunky snow filler in my shaker card.
The background paper is from Stampin Up’s Merry Moments paper pack. The sentiment is from the stamp set Christmas Cuties which is also from Stampin Up. I left the inside blank so I can add my own personal greeting.
There you have it! That’s my card. I think I’m going to send it to the grandkids! Make sure you check out all of the cute files over at Miss Kate.
Hello everyone! Today is my day to post for the Miss Kate Cuttables blog. I have a little gift tag to share. I created this winter themed tag using a file from Miss Kate Cuttables.
Here is my tag.
As you can see I didn’t use all of the layers from the file. I wanted to add some texture and dimension so I added a fun wooden snowflake charm from ButterBee Scraps. I add some glittered ribbon trim from Stampin’ Up as well.
I used some mini brads from Stampin Up along the skate laces.
It needed a little more sparkle so I added a large silver sequin to the center of the snowflake and then used my clear Wink of Stella brush marker along the edge of the skate as well as the heel. I added a little twine bow to finish it off.
I like how it turned out. This tag would look really cute on a gift bag or present. Or you could just hang it up.
Hello everyone! Today I have a project to share with you using a fun Miss Kate Cuttables file called Passport.
I used my awesome Cricut Explore Air to create this fun realistic passport. I welded the back layer to the front layer then scored it down the middle. I duplicated the white layer so I would have one for both sides of my booklet.
For the front of the booklet I wanted some gold leafing so the passport would look meow realistic. I punched out a white circle and used my Krylon gold leaf pen around the edges. I just wanted the gold to show up through the leaves.
On the inside I added a punched red stamp and a little photo frame.
