Hello everyone today I have a fun back to school project to share using Graphic 45 ABC Primer Deluxe Collectors Edition. I created my project using an svg file from Lori Whitlock and my Cricut Maker. I also share a quick tutorial on how to put the stationary set together so stay tuned to the end of the video.
Hello everyone! Are you ready for National Scrapbooking Day? I will be celebrating National Scrapbooking Day at a retreat. I created some fun favor boxes for the event.
I used a really cute watering can svg file from Lori Whitlock. I used papers from the Natures Sketchbook collection to cut them out. Instead of chocolates to put inside the favor boxes I thought it would be fun to add sunflower seeds!
I added some little extra details like mini brads to the base of the handle and spout. I used a circle punch to cut out butterflies from one of the design papers and then backed it with a scallop circle from the patterns and solids. A bit of twine and a fun little die cut tag with NSD 2017 was added to the handle to finish it off.
I will be teaching my Natures Sketchbook Large Folio project at the retreat and thought these little watering cans were perfect!
Have a fabulous weekend!
Hello everyone! Today I want to share a recipe Folio created with the Happiness is Homemade collection by Lori Whitlock for Echo Park! Thanks for watching! Here’s the link for the Scrapbookers of Country Craft Creations.
Hello everyone! Today I want to share the valentines that I created for my grandkids. For my granddaughters card I used a really fun svg file from Lori Whitlock. Here’s the card I made for my granddaughter.
Here’s the card when it’s open. It’s a fun pop out card. I used my Cricut Explore Air2 to cut out this card. I even used the writing feature to write the sentiment.
For my grandsons card I decided to create the card without using the file. I did cut out a cute bee from Miss Kate Cuttables.
I used a couple of stamp sets from CardzTv to stamp the sentiment on the inside.
There you have it! I need to get these in the mail so they can receive them on time. Have a great weekend!
Hello everyone! It’s Friday so that means it’s time for another challenge over at PDE Linky Party! This will be the last challenge for 2016. The challenge this week is “Anything Goes!”. I decided to create a little cocoa pouch using some fun papers from Echo Park’s I Love Winter collection by Lori Whitlock.
I used some fun doily dies, scallop circle dies, and circle punches to create several layers to add to the center of the pouch. The pouch is a die cut also.
The cute little mittens were from a border strip off of the design paper that I cut out with a circle punch. I used snowflake punch to add some glittery snowflakes and added a little red bling to the centers. I decided the little mittens needed some sparkle as well!
There you have it! I added some yummy cocoa and a peppermint stick to the inside of the pouch and tied it off with some pretty ribbon. Make sure you join the fun at PDE Linky Party! Have a great New Year!
Hello everyone! Happy Friday! That means it’s time for another challenge at PDE Linky Party. The challenge this week is Anything But a Card! I got a new die set designed by Lori Whitlock for Sizzix and wanted to use it for my project this week. It’s a really cute 3D mini lantern. Here’s my project.
I die cut the lantern with some brown cardstock and then used another new die set I had from Lawn Fawn to cut the leaves. I used the Stampin Up Acorn punch for the little acorn and then added some May Arts twine. I used the CardzTv stamp set Thankful for Fall for the sentiment across the front.
I think that’s my new favorite die set for leaves. The little lantern will fit a small battery operated tea light through the top. I used some mini brads to attach the little handle.
That my project for this weeks challenge. I hope you will decide to play along! Here’s a quick photo of the die and stamp sets that I used in my project.
Have a great weekend!
