Hello everyone! What do you do when you need some quick graduation cards? Simple Stories Rad Grad collection to the rescue! I created three really quick and easy cards. Here’s a look at the first card I created using this fun collection.
This card measures 5-1/2×5-1/2. The base of the card is black cardstock. I added some layers of black and white behind the design papers to just separate the patterns. The sentiment on the front is one of the 4×4 cut outs from the collection making this card really quick. I used a gold glitter shimmer pen over the writing and stars. I left the inside of this first card blank.
I did use some of the design papers to finish off the inside.
For the second card I decided to create a fun gatefold style card.
I used another one of the cut outs for the focal point on the front of the card. Lots of layers with the black and white cardstock to separate the patterns. I had some gold star brads in my stash so I added those to the front as well.
I used the Happy, Happy, Happy stamp set from Lawn Fawn for the inside sentiment. I added another cute gold star brad to finish it off.
I decided to create a fun fold card for the third one. Here’s a look at the front of the card.
Again the cut out is the focal point on the front. I used a little star punch and add some black glitter stars to the upper left hand corner of this Z fold card. Here’s a look at the inside.
I used the same sentiment from the Lawn Fawn stamp set but this time I heat embossed the word “happy” with some gold embossing powder. A couple more black glitter stars and this card is ready to go!
There you have it! Three quick but fun cards for graduation.
Have a great week!
