Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing a fun favor project that you can use for DAD this Father’s Day. All of the dies for this project were created with MCT product. Here’s a look at this cute favor.
I used the Treat Pouch Die for the actual favor holder and die cut it from some fun coffee bean paper that I had in my stash. The word DAD is die cut using the ABC dies. I love these dies because they have a shadow feature which really helps the letters stand out. I wanted a backdrop for the word DAD so I used the Pretty Circle Layers to die cut the circle.I used a tiny sentiment from the Especially for You stamp set and stamped it on the new Tag Frame Layers and Tag Frame Dies.
I had some burlap trim in my stash that I used to tie up the treat pouch. I added the circle with foam adhesive just along the top and bottom.
Thanks for stopping by! For more inspiration check out the MCT blog.
Today I’m sharing another file folder project using the really great Man Card Collection by Photoplay. This is another great masculine collection for all those guy projects. Thanks for watching!
Hello everyone! I have a quick little project to share with you today. I received a sample of the Simple Stories Plaid Dad collection. The sample was only three sheets of the 12×12.
I saw a really cute tutorial on the Everything Authentique Facebook page and I thought it would be the perfect project. In the tutorial they used a graduation themed papers but I wanted to create a Fathers Day version. Its a small little folio created from cardstock.
I double matted the project using black cardstock for the base and then added a layer of gray cardstock. It has a magnet closure on the front. I created a pocket with one of the cut parts and add a couple of tags with some cute brads that resemble screws.
When opened up all of the way there are pockets on the left side and a waterfall in the center.
The waterfall has a magnet attached to the back so it can be removed. I used the cute plaid shirt paper as a fun surprise once the waterfall is removed.
I didn’t have a lot of paper left so I did some random blocking of papers to add to the back of the folio.
This was a really cute project and came together really quick! Sending this to my Father in Law for Fathers Day! I love the fun saying, “Sawdust is Man Glitter”.
Have a great week and checkout the fun tutorial over on the Everything Authentique Facebook page.
Hello everyone! Today I want to share a card that I created for the Miss Kate blog. Since Father’s Day is this month I thought I would create a Father’s Day card. Miss Kate has so many great files that it was really hard to choose. I decided on a shaped card using the #1 Dad file.
This file is actually a title file but I loved the design of it so I turned it into a shaped card using my Cricut Explore Air.
This file worked great for a shaped card since it has a nice shadow layer that can be used as the base of the card. I added some dimension to the card by using some foam tape to the back of the tie.
I kept the sentiment pretty simple on the inside by using the Happy Father’s Day stamp from CardzTv Happy Days stamp set.
That’s my Father’s Day card. I like how it turned out. It was really simple to create. Have a great week!
