Hello e everyone! Today I want to share a card I created for the FCCB “Red White and Blue” Cricut Crawl. Make a project using red, white and blue as the main colors using your Cricut (to make or decorate it).
Since the colors were to be red white and blue and the July 4 holiday is coming, I wanted to do something patriotic. I decided to create a card welcoming a service woman home.
I used the Cricut Essentials cartridge to cut out the blue label and the leaves for my rose. I did some embossing on the red mat using the stars cuttlebug folder and the swiss dots folder on the blue label. I created the rose using an EK Success flower punch. My “Welcome Home” sentiment is from CardzTv Simply Said stamp set. I added a big bow using some ribbon from my stash.
That’s my card! I hope everyone has a safe and Happy 4th of July!
Happy Holidays! Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving! Today I have a couple of quick cards to share with you.
The first card has a little Christmas tree on the front that was cut using the Create A Critter 2 Cricut Cartridge. I added Mustard Seed Stickles to the star and yellow ornaments to make them sparkle.
On the inside I stamped Merry Christmas.
The second card has a cute little penguin sporting a Santa hat. The penguin was cut with the same cartridge. I added Icicle Stickles to the penguin’s hat and I added some black bling for his eyes. I also added a small red bling to his little scarf.
The design paper for both of these cards is from the Doodlebug North Pole Collection.
Hey everyone! Welcome to another Cardztv Stamps Design Team Challenge. The challenge is Happy Holiday~ Pick One! Create a card, layout or project for any holiday using any colors you like. Here’s what I created for the challenge.
I decided to pick Thanksgiving as my Holiday and created a card. I used the “Thankful for You” Cardztv Stamp set. This stamp set has some great sayings for the fall holidays.
My card measures 5×6-1/2 inches. I used a golden orange as my card base and then layerd a dark brown mat which is 4-3/4 x6-1/4 inches.
Next I layered my design paper which is from the Bo Bunny Apple Cider Collection. It measures 4-1/2 x6 inches. I added a strip of the golden orange at the center of the card. The strip measures 1-1/2 x 6.
I used the Cricut Thanksgiving Cartridge to cut out my pumpkin and the Cricut Elegant Edges cartridge to cut out the dark brown label.
I added some seam binding to the top of my card that I dyed with Tim Holtz Shabby Shutters Distress Stain. This is one of my favorite colors of green. I tyed a couple of bows and added a brown button with some twine.
I stamped “Harvest Blessings” on a strip of golden orange and trimmed the end to look like a banner. I finished the inside of my card with a dark brown mat, design paper mat, and an orange mat. I stamped “Happy Thanksgivng” on the inside as well.
That’s my card! I hope you play along with the challenge this week. Don’t forget to check out all of the great Cardztv Stamps.
Happy Weekend!! Today is a very special day because we celebrating the release of a very special stamp set at Cardz TV Stamps!
Today we are introducing to you the brand new BREW HAHA Stamp Set. Why is this stamp set so special, you ask? Well, I’m glad you asked! The BREW HAHA Stamp set is so special because the entire Cardz TV Stamps Design Team helped come up with the stamp sayings. We had so much for brainstorming and working together on this, and we know you are going to enjoy the versatility and wide variety of stamp sayings as much as we love them! So grab your cup of cocoa, java, or simmered tea and come hop along with us!
For my project I created a shaped card. I used the Cricut From My Kitchen cartridge. Using the shadow feature I cut the coffee pot at 4-1/4 inches. I wanted my handle on the coffee pot to be on the left so I used the flip button on my cricut to do this. My design paper is from October Afternoon’s Thrift Shoppe collection.
I cut out several layers and added them to the coffee pot. I stamped my sentiment on the front of my card with Timber Brown Staz-on.
I added some dyed seam binding and a button to the handle. I also added a piece of rick rack and a couple of buttons to the bottom of the pot.

Hey everyone! Here is another card that I created using the Cricut Create A Critter Cartridge, Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge, and Cardztv Stamps. The stamp set is called Going Buggy. This stamp set is tons of fun.
My card measures 5 x 6-1/2 inches. The base is ivory and the black mat is cut at 4-3/4 x 6-1/4 inches. The blue chevron design paper is cut at 4-1/2 x 6 inches. I then cut another black mat that measures 3-1/2 x 5 inches. The yellow striped mat is 3-1/4 x 4-3/4 inches.
I used Elegant Edges to cut out the label. I cut the label and the shadow at 3-1/2 inches. I then cut my cute little bee from Create A Critter. I cut him out at 4 inches. I added some black diamond stickles to his antanne, eyes, and stinger to give him a little sparkle. I stamped my sentiment at the top.
I think the card turned out pretty cute. The design paper for this card was from GCD Studios.
Hello everyone! Today I want to share a card that I created using a great stamp set from Cardztv Stamps. The stamp set is “It’s All About You“.
My card measures 4-1/4 x4-1/4. I used a piece of kraft cardstock for the base of my card. The next layer measures 4-1/8 x 4-1/8 and is cut from a golden yellow cardstock. I added another black mat that measures 3-7/8 x 3-7/8. I added the black so my design paper would really show up. I then added my design paper which measures 3-3/4 x 3-3/4. The design paper is from October Afternoon’s 9-5 Collection.
For the flower I cut several different sizes of a flower from the Cricut Mothers Day Bouquet Cartridge using white cardstock. I used my Tim Holtz distress inks in Scattered Straw and Wild Honey to add color to the flower. I added a brown brad to the center of the flower. I punched out a couple of leaves from the kraft cardstock using my Martha Stewart rose leaf punch.
I stamped my sentiment “You’re the Best!” on the yellow cardstock using Walnut Stain distress ink.
I think the card turned out pretty cute. Let me know what you think! Have a great week!
