Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by today! Just want to share a card that I created for the Cricut Cardz Challenge #110 over at CardzTV. The challenge was to create a Fathers Day card.
My card measures 5×6-1/2 inches. The base of my card is ivory. I added sold green mat, then a light blue mat. I ran the light blue mat through my cuttlebug using the dots and circles folder. ( I think that’s what it’s called.)
I added another small green mat to the bottom of the blue mat and used my scissors to fringe the top edge to make it look like grass and give it some texture. Then I added a tan piece of cardstock on top of the small green mat. I ran the tan piece through the cuttlebug using the swiss dots folder.
For my image I used the Cricut Wrap It Up Cartridge. I cut the golf club bag out at 5-1/2 inches. Since the first layer for the golf bag had a swirl cutout on it I decided to just cut another base layer in the striped paper and trim off the golf clubs. I used a silver pen to color the heads of the golf clubs and added two small glitter brads to the pockets on the golf bag. I also added some faux stitching around the pockets.
For my sentiment I punched out a white circle then stamped my “Dad, you’re the best!”. After I stamped the circle I ran it through the cuttlebug so it would look like a golf ball. Sorry but I’m not sure what the folder is called, I think it’s spots and dots. I added some twine to the top of the card and tied a bow, then glued a button to the center. I added two smaller buttons to the bottom left hand corner.
Thanks for looking! Have a great week!

Hey everyone! Here is card that I created for the Cricut Cardz Challenge over at CardzTV. The challenge was May Day. Create a card with a flower using any cartridge and colors you like. Here’s the card I created.
I used the Mother’s Day Bouquet Cartridge to cut my flower and my leaves. I cut the flower out four times on white cardstock. I cut two flowers at 2.75 inches, one at 2.5 inches and the last one at 2 inches. The leaf base was cut at 3 inches. I used my Tim Holtz distress ink in Wild Honey to color my flowers. I also used the Imaginece flower roller tool to give the petals some dimension. I added a large button with some twine to the center.
The card measures 4-1/4 x5-1/2. The design paper is from WeR Memory Keepers Good day Sunshine line. I added a piece of seam binding that I dyed with some Tim Holtz distress ink in Shabby Shutters to the bottom of the card and stamped my sentiment, Brighten the day with flowers, in the top right hand corner.
I hope you like my card. Have a great day!
Here is a card that I created for the Cricut CardzTV Challenge #106. The challenge was April Showers. For the challenge you were to create a card with an umbrella, boot, clouds, puddle, etc.
To create my card I used the Nate’s ABC’s Cricut cartridge to cut out the rainboots and umbrella. I aso cut some blades of grass. The rainboots were cut at 2-1/2 inches.
The umbrella was a layer for another image so it was cut at 4-3/4 inches. The blades of grass were cut at 2 inches. The flower is from Recollections. The paper for my card is from My Minds Eye Lost & Found collection.
