Hi everyone! Today I have a cute card to share with you using a super cute file from Miss Kate Cuttables called Reading Owl.
My card measures 4-1/4 x5-1/2. I used Crumb Cake Cardstock from Stampin Up for the base, then layered a solid black mat on top. I used another piece of Crumb Cake and embossed it with a cute embossing folder that had clouds on it.
I did some faux stitching around the owl’s book and added some stickers to the front. The strip of design paper is from the Garden Party 6×6 paper pad by Pebbles Inc.
I added some Tangerine Tango twine from Stampin Up to the front and tied a double bow. The inside sentiment is from the This & That stamp set by CardzTv.

Hello everyone! Well it’s time for another fun Linky Party over at CardzTv. The theme for this Link Party is “Toasted Marshmallow”. Create a card, layout or altered project using a marshmallow. Well, this was a tough one for me but here’s what I came up with.
My cute Moose image came from the Silhouette store. It is ID #43360. I used papers from Echo Parks’s Happy Camper 6×6 paper pad. I stamped my sentiment from the CardzTv “Good Times” stamp set.
Hope you will join us for this super fun Linky Party at CardzTv!
Hello everyone! Welcome to the CardzTv “Pop it Up or Make it Wiggle” Linky Party. We were challenged to create a card, layout or project using pop dots, foam tape, or an action wobble on the main image. Here’s what I created.
I created a 5×5 card using some design papers from the Doodlebug “Take Note” 6×6 paper pad. I love the colors and designs in this paper. It’s very bright and happy paper! I layered my papers onto the card base and then used an Action Wobble and foam tape on my main image which is this cute little camera die cut.
For the sentiment for my card I used the CardzTv Stamp Set “This & That“. I thought the “Oh Snap!” sentiment worked well with the camera die cut.
I added a few buttons and some bling to the front as well. I also used pop dots on the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you come and join in on the fun over at CardzTv!
Hi everyone! The Cardz TV Challenge is back from Summer vacation with some new, fun challenges, linky parties, and a new name! Mary divided us into two groups. I am now part of the Cardz TV Linky Party Galz. Here was the our first challenge.
Linky Party #1 “Sew Much Fun”
Create a card, layout or craft using real or faux stitching.
I created a card using some Kaisercraft Needle & Thread design paper. I used Mary’s awesome new stamp set called “Sew Much Fun“. I used a zig zag stitch around my design papers. I added flowers, lace and a few buttons to complete the card. I stamped my sentiment on the front of the card. (click card enlarge)
Hope you all have fun with this linky party! Good luck everyone…we can’t wait to see what you create!
Hello everyone! It’s time for another challenge over at CardzTv. For this challenge we were to create a card, layout, or project using the “Love in a Jar” stamp set.
Here’s my card. The stamp set is amazing! I couldn’t decide what to create so I wanted show that you could use just the simplest sayings from this stamp set for any type of card.
My design paper is from DCWV. I used a coffee sleeve from Starbucks on the front for a pocket which holds the gift card. Love that cute pink coffee sleeve! I added some flowers, a stick pin, pearls, twine, and a clear button to the front.
I just added a few pieces of cardstock to the inside of the card to finish it off.
Hello everyone! It’s time for another challenge over at Cardztv. This is challenge #30, Father’s Day, create a card, layout, or other project for Father’s Day.
I created a little mini album for the challenge. I used the “You’re the Man” stamp set from CardzTv. I created my pages using some recycled coffee sleeves. I don’t create a lot of guy mini albums so this was a fun one. I used a lot of the sentiments from the stamp set in this mini album. The design paper is from Bo Bunny.
Hello everyone! It’s time for another CardzTv Stamps Design Team Challenge. This is challenge #29, “There’s no other like my Mother”, create a card, layout, or craft project for Mothers Day.
I decided to create a little vertical tag mini album for my Mothers Day project. I used two different CardzTv stamp sets on the cover. I used the “Simply Said” set to stamp the “Just for you” on the tag at the top, and I used the “Happy Days” set to stamp “Happy Mothers Day.”
Instead of photos for this mini album each of the tags have verses from Proverbs 31. The verses are from the message bible.

And don’t forget to come back tomorrow to Cardz TV for Day 2 with our Sunday team, for even more fun, inspiration and another chance to win some great blog candy!
For my blog hop project I decided to create a couple of layouts of my grandson. Of course I used the Cardztv “Your the Man” Stamp set. My design paper is from Echo Park’s “Scoot” Collection. This paper is a great paper for boys. I cut the title using my Slice and added it to the top of the page along with some twine and buttons. I stamped the sentiment “Hello Handsome” using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and added a few stick pins that I had in my stash. I added a few more buttons to the bottom corner of the layout.
For the second page of the layout I created some banners at the top and added buttons and twine. I also added the large “Today” word bubble for my title and stamped “Mr. Fix-it” to a small label and added it to a large journaling card. I thought this sentiment went really well with the photo. You never know with a three year old what you are going to get! I finished the journal spot off with a couple more buttons.
