For my project I decided to create two different Halloween Treat Bags.
Here s a closeup of the first treat bag. It’s actually a cut little treat sack created from the Stampin Up Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Die. I love the little zig zag edge. The design paper is also from Stampin Up.
For the second little treat holder I created something a little smaller. I used the same Stampin Up design paper and a fun little stamp set. I punched out a couple of stars from black glimmer paper.
Now for why blog candy… I decided to give away a little kit so you can recreate these two treat holders just in time for Halloween. All you need to do is comment and follow my blog. That’s it. Next stop is Georgiana. Make sure you check out all of the blogs along the way for some amazing inspiration!

Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by. Today I have another fun summer shaped card to share. I used a really great svg file from Miss Kate Cuttables.
I used the fun watermelon in this file to create my shaped card.
Since this is a nesting file I didn’t use all of the layers.
I stamped my sentiment on the outside with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used my Stampin’ Up banner punch to punch the end and added a fun double bow with some May Arts jute string.
I stamped the inside sentiment with the same ink. All of the cardstock is from Stampin’ Up. That’s my fun summer shaped card. I hope you give a shaped card a try. Have a great week!
Hello everyone! Today I want to share a card that I created for the Miss Kate blog. Since Father’s Day is this month I thought I would create a Father’s Day card. Miss Kate has so many great files that it was really hard to choose. I decided on a shaped card using the #1 Dad file.
This file is actually a title file but I loved the design of it so I turned it into a shaped card using my Cricut Explore Air.
This file worked great for a shaped card since it has a nice shadow layer that can be used as the base of the card. I added some dimension to the card by using some foam tape to the back of the tie.
I kept the sentiment pretty simple on the inside by using the Happy Father’s Day stamp from CardzTv Happy Days stamp set.
That’s my Father’s Day card. I like how it turned out. It was really simple to create. Have a great week!
Hi everyone! Today I have a fun shaped birthday card to share. I created this card using an image from Miss Kate Cuttables. I used the Make A Wish Title file.
I love using some of the title files to create shaped cards. I used my Cricut Explore Air to create this fun little card.
Here’s a closeup of the front of the card.
I also used CardzTv Happy Days stamp set for my sentiment on the inside.
I added a few little stars to the inside just to add a little more color. Well that’s my card. Have a great week!
Hello everyone! Today I have a project to share with you that I created for the Miss Kate Cuttables Blog. I just got a new Cricut Explore Air during the launch on HSN. I was really excited when it arrived so I decided to use it to create my project for Miss Kate. Since I’m really new to all of the workings of this awesome machine I wanted to keep my project simple so I created my first Easter card. Here is the file that I used for my project.
And here is the card that I created.
Instead of using all of the cuts from the eggs I wanted to cut them with some design paper. So I just used the back layer.
I also wanted my Easter eggs to come out of the basket so I created little photo mats out of them.
I used lots of dimension to the front part of the basket. I stamped my sentiment on some kraft paper and punched it out with an oval punch and layered it on a scalloped oval punch. I added a couple of homemade enamel dots as well.
I added some design paper to the inside of the card to finish it off and added some more homemade enamel dots.
That’s my card. I hope you like it. I’m still learning about my new Cricut Explore Air. It’s a pretty amazing machine! Have a great week!
Hello everyone! Today I want to share my first project for the Miss Kate blog for 2015. I decided to create a fun shaped card using a super cute file called Puppy Love.
All of the elements in this file are adorable! I decided to use the fire hydrant as the base for my shaped card.
I added the fun little paw prints as well as the doggy bone to the front of my card with some dimensional adhesive.
I stamped the sentiment “special delivery” from the CardzTV stamp set “Snail Mail”. I added some faux stitching with a white gel pen and inked around all of the edges with walnut stain distress ink from Tim Holtz.
That’s my card! Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!
Hello everyone! Today is my day to post on the Miss Kate blog. For my project I used the really cute fall file called Barrel of Leaves.
I thought this image would look really cute with a pullout tag coming from the top of the barrel. So here’s what I created.
And here is the pullout tag.
This project was really easy to create. I just cut another basket base for the back of the card. I embossed the first basket base using the Cuttlebug fabric swatch embossing folder. Then I inked over the embossing with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. Then I trimmed off the top portion and add the next layer. I did add some small eyelets just to give it some more texture to the trim pieces.
Then I glued this onto the other basket base just around the edges so I could create a tag and slip it into the basket. The leaves from the cut file were added to the top of the tag. I did cut a couple of extra leaves to add to the front of the basket.
I stamped my title label on the front of the basket and then stamped my sentiment on the tag. I also added some ivory yardstick to the back of my tag so you could sign your tag card.
That’s my project! Have a great week!

Hello everyone! Today is my day to post on the Miss Kate blog today. I decided to create a small fall project using a really great file called Fall Fun.
I decided this image would look great on one of the Graphic 45 Staples Kraft Tags. I cut out the fall fun file with my Cameo using some solid card stock from my stash. I layered on design papers from Graphic 45’s An Eerie Tale 6×6 paper pad.
I added some metal from Butter Bee Scraps and layered on one of the Cardstock flowers from the Eerie Tale collection to the top corner. I inked around my die cut image with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink.
I used some dimensional adhesive when I put together my die cuts. I added some ribbon from May Arts to the top of my tag and stamped Fall Harvest using CardzTv stamp set Fall Fun. That stamp set and this file from Miss Kate were made for each other! Love it!
Well that’s my project! I really like how it turned out. This file would be great for Thanksgiving decor. Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous week!
