I kept my card simple with some pretty gold accents. My sentiment comes from the Peace on Earth set. Here’s a closer look.

This die set is super fun to use with the new slimline style cards. I used the really cute Gingerbread Friends stamp and die set for the front of my card. Here’s a closer look.

Creative Mountain Retreat 2021

Annette Green and I are excited to announce our 5th and final Creative Mountain Retreat! This is our biggest, most fun event we co-host together each year and we’ve secured the dates and costs for 2021 and will be ready for your registration in January. You can read all the details now to be ready in January at our official Creative Mountain Retreat blog.

We had such a great time at our 2020 retreat (yes, during Covid and staying safe) we’d love to share it with you in this video below. Please enjoy and let me know if you have any questions about anything.

Christmas Card – Manly Monday

Christmas Card – Manly Monday

Hello everyone! Today it is Manly Monday on the MCT blog. Here is the card that I created.

I used the fun reindeer from the Fun Gift Tag Dies as my focal point. I added some fun branches surrounding the reindeer. The branches are from Festive Branch Dies. I wanted a touch of gold since this is a Christmas card so I added three small stitched stars that I die cut from the Star Rosette die that was part of the Black Friday release. Here’s a closer look at the front.

I white heat embossed my sentiment from the Gift Card Greetings set. I add the reindeer, branches, and gold stars onto the largest dies from the More Chunky Stitched Tags die set.
I stamped a sentiment on the inside of my card from the Peace on Earth stamp set.

My pattern papers are from Photoplay’s Christmas Cheer collection. Make sure you check out the MCT blog for more inspiration.

MCT 5 Days of Christmas – Day 5

MCT 5 Days of Christmas – Day 5

Welcome to our 5th day of our 5 Days of Christmas! Today we thought we would surprise you with different ideas!
For Day 5 I decided to create a fun little treat bag. I used the new shopping bag die for my project.

I used some fun papers from Prima to die cut the shopping bag. I added the stamped and colored the cute gingerbread girl from the Gingerbread Friends set. I used my Copic markers to color the sweet little gingerbread girl.

I heat embossed my sentiment and die cut a white heart using the Scallop Heart Tag Dies. I finished it off with some fun little enamel dots I had in my stash.

MCT 5 Days of Christmas – Day 3 – Cards

Welcome to our 3rd day of our 5 Days of Christmas! Today we all will be showcasing some quick & EASY Cards!
I decided to do some super quick and pretty notecards.

I created three notecards using the 3×3 Trifold Card die. My papers are from Lawn Fawn and have a pretty gold foil dot detail. I added a gold snowflake to the front of each of the cards. The snowflake is from the Gift Card Tag dies. I stamped a sentiment on the inside.

Of course I had to heat emboss my sentiment using some gold embossing powder. The sentiment comes from the new Peace on Earth stamp set.

MCT 5 Days of Christmas Day 2 – Treat Holders

Welcome to our 2nd day of our 5 Days of Christmas! Today we all will be showcasing some quick & EASY Treat Holders!

Here’s my project for you.

I used the revised Sleigh Treat Box die for my treat holder. This die goes together super quick and easy. I used some gold foil cardstock to cut out the sleds for my treat holder. I actually cut them out twice and glued them together so they would be gold on both sides. Here’s a closer look.

I used the same gold foil cardstock to cut the bow and also added a gold embossed sentiment using the Gift Card Greetings set.

MCT 5 Days of Christmas – Day 1 – Tags

Hello & welcome to our “5” Days of Christmas”! This week we will be sharing w/you LOTS of last minute Christmas ideas, such as cards, tags, treat holders, gift card holders & what ever else comes to mind that will help YOU get your creative juices flowing for the holiday! I used the fun new Small Santa Hat Topper die to create my tag. I used some fun papers and added a sentiment from the Gift Card Greetings set. I used some glitter cardstock and another fun print to dress up the back of my tag.

Yea, Today is the day! It’s MCT’s 105th Edition Release Sale and blog hop. You should have arrived here from Miss Gaylynne’s blog. I created a fun little holiday shopping bag using the new Shopping Bag Die and the Ho Ho Ho #2 Die.

Here’s my fun little bag.

I added a fun little piece of ephemera to the front of the bag that coordinated with the design paper that I used for the bag. I die cut the Ho Ho Ho die out with some fun foam as well as some red cardstock. I added a metal snowflake charm to the action die cut snowflake portion. I also added some clear Nuvo drops to the letters to make them stand out more.
