Hey everyone!! Today it’s all about the guys over on the MCT blog. I decided to create a fun tag using the Torn Paper Frames die. I used the second and third dies from this set to create my tag. I die cut the frames using some fabulous paper from Tim Holtz Christmas 8×8 paper pad. This is the paper pad from last year.
The papers in this collection worked out perfectly. I did adhere the papers to some Kraft cardstock before die cutting them just to give them some stability and so a message could be written on the back. I stamped, colored, and die cut the cute gingerbread guy from the Gingerbread Friends stamp and die set. Seriously?? How cute are these little guys. Why have I not used this sooner? I did stamp the gingerbread guy onto some Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and stamped him with Versafine Onyx Black ink then embossed him with clear embossing powder. I then used some Copic markers to color him. I added some Brilliant White Nuvo drops for added detail.
The sentiment comes from the Gingerbread Friends set as well. I did stamped it and trimmed it out with my paper trimmer. I added all of the images and layers with foam tape. I punch a hole at the top and added some pretty taupe ribbon I had in my stash.
There you have it!! I even got the approval from My Guy that it qualified as a “guy tag”. Make sure you check out the MCT blog for more inspiration!

Cute tag!
Have a great day!
