Hello everyone! It’s time for another challenge over at Cardztv. This is challenge #30, Father’s Day, create a card, layout, or other project for Father’s Day.
I created a little mini album for the challenge. I used the “You’re the Man” stamp set from CardzTv. I created my pages using some recycled coffee sleeves. I don’t create a lot of guy mini albums so this was a fun one. I used a lot of the sentiments from the stamp set in this mini album. The design paper is from Bo Bunny.
Happy Memorial Day! Today I have a birthday card to share. My sister needed a birthday for a friends mother who celebrated her 90th birthday yesterday! Here is the card I created for this amazing celebration.
I used an ivory color for my card base. I then added a raspberry pink mat. Next I layered a doily printed mat from Crate Paper. I wrapped some pretty ivory lace around the center of the mat before adhering the doily print paper to the card.
I added a pretty Prima Journaling spot next and stamped the sentiment “Wishing you a day as perfect as you are” to the center of the journaling spot. The stamp is from Stampin’ Up.
I then added some seam binding and flowers to the bottom left corner along with a Tim Holtz memo pin and a glittered key die cut. Three tiny pearls were added to the upper right hand corner to finish off the front of the card.
For the inside, I added a strip of the raspberry pink Cardstock and trimmed it out with a decorative edge punch. I stamped Happy Birthday using the CardzTv stamp set “Happy Days”.
Welcome to the “You’ve Got Mail” Blog Hop! This is day two of the blog hop. You should have arrived here from Mary’s blog.
For the blog hop I created a pocket style card. I used design paper from the Simple Stories Summer Fresh collection. I love the stamps in this set. I used seven different stamps on this card. I used the stamps on the front of my card to resemble mail postage.
On the inside of the card I stamped my sentiment on a tag inside the pocket.
Now for some blog candy! I am giving away a My Minds Eye “Moments” 6 x 6 paper pad. To enter just leave a comment on this post. I will draw a random winner on Tuesday, May 21.
Thanks for stopping by! You’re next stop is Jennifer! Here’s the blog hop lineup in case you get lost along the way.
My niece and I did a mini album swap. Here’s the amazing mini album she created for me. She used the Prima Romance Novel Collection along with Prima’s Printery Collection. This album is amazing! Thanks Jackie! I love it!
Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by. It’s time for another challenge over at Paper Playtime! This is challenge #10. For this challenge we were to create a card, layout or project incorporating buttons.
I created a card for this challenge using the gorgeous Prima Romance Novel Collection. This collection is so pretty. I used some Prima flowers and some May Arts black twine to the top portion of the card. I added a label cut from the design paper and stamped my sentiment using the “Simply Said” stamp set from CardzTv.
The buttons on my card are crystal buttons from Stampin Up.
That’s my card for today! I hope you will join us over at PaperPlaytime.
