Hello everyone! I hope you had a great week. Today I have a 12×12 double layout to share with you. I really need to try and do more layouts to put in my grandkids scrapbooks.
I attended the CKC Scrapbook Convention and picked up a few of the Echo Park Mini Theme kits hoping it would motivate me to create more scrapbook layouts. For this layout I used the Echo Park Hello Spring Mini Theme Kit. The kit came with 6 12×12 designer paper as as well as a 6×12 sticker sheet.
For the first layout I used some coordinating solid green Cardstock from DCWV for the base. I added a punched border along the top using one of the design papers. I added two strips of the butterfly paper to the sides of my layout and then cut a 10×10 piece of design paper to layer in the middle. I cut some photo mats from the same blue design paper as my scalloped border. Added some coordinating ribbon at the bottom. (click photo to enlarge)
I used the “SPRING” letter stickers for my title and added some metal embellishments to the sides. I also added the umbrella sticker to the left corner with some foam tape to give the layout some dimension. I added a small journaling spot to the bottom right corner using another coordinating solid Cardstock from American Crafts.
To create the second page in the layout I used the same solid green Cardstock for my base. I cut my photo mat from the blue design paper to measure 5-1/4 x 7-1/4 in order to accommodate the 5×7 photo. I layered some Bo Bunny Double Dot paper onto the solid green, and then layered some of the butterfly paper as well as the green design paper on top. (click photo to enlarge)
I added a couple more scallop borders and then a strip of ribbon to the center. The cloud and flower were from the sticker sheet. I did use some foam tape on the flower for dimension.
I punched out a scallop circle as well as a label using some EK Success punches then added the “April showers brings May flowers” sticker. A few butterflies and some metal embellishments finish off the layout.
Thanks for looking, have a great weekend and a very blessed Easter!
Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by. I hope you had a great weekend! I know I did! I attended a scrapbook convention with some friends! We had a blast!
I have a super quick card to share with you today! I used the DCWV Birthday Wishes Stack. My sentiment is from Cardztv Good Times Stamp Set. I used a banner punch from Stampin Up for my little banner and added a button and twine to the center.
My sentiment on the inside of the card is from the same CardzTv stamp set, and I used the same punch to add the little banner.

I apologize to all our blog subscribers because our last RSS feed got spammed. Somehow between the blog post and Feedburner an ad got placed in the middle of the RSS feed that went out via email.
I’m trying to track down the source of the problem. We had trouble with our hosting account, which is through Go Daddy, and then some WordPress Plugin issues. Somewhere in that mess the problem cropped up.
This post will serve as a both an apology and a test to see if the spam re-appears.

Welcome to the CardzTv Design Team Good Times Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Laura’s blog.
For my project I decided to create a chipboard tag. I used the DCWV Birthday Wishes 6×6 paper pad. To create the shape of my tag I used a Sizzix Die. This is actually a mini album die but I though the shape would make a cute tag. I cut the tag out of medium weight black chipboard.
I added some extra large wide eyelets in a bright orange to the holes and ran some hot pink tulle through and tied a bow. I added a pink bling to the center of the bow to give it a little sparkle.
The die has a label and a couple of flowers on it as well, so, I cut the label out with the black chipboard and covered it with some of the design paper. I stamped my sentiment from the “Good Times” stamp set onto some white card stock and notched out the end. I also added some Prima pearl bling to the center of the tag.
I die cut several of the flowers from that same Sizzix die in yellow Cardstock. I layered them together to create the larger flower and added some leaves using a Martha Stewart leaf punch. I added two smaller roses to the bottom corner.
That’s it! Please leave a comment on this blog post for a chance to win some scrappy goodness by Basic Grey!
Next stop on the blog hop is Michelle! Enjoy!
Hello everyone! Today I have a fun little project to share with you!
I was asked to create a couple of Disney Autograph books for my friends’ two children. They are taking a Disney vacation during spring break and she wanted to have some books for the kids to use to get all of the Disney Character Autographs.
Here’s what I came up with! Thanks for watching!

Hello everyone! I have a quick unconventional little baby card to share with you today. Created this card using my Cricut Car Decals Cartridge.
My card measures 5×5. The design paper is from My Minds Eye. I added a large green bow and a button in the top corner.
I cut the baby girl image at 4-1/2 inches.

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by. Today I have a card to share with you. My husband needed a card for a coworker who is leaving the Pacific Northwest and moving to Phoenix, Arizona. [click photos to enlarge]
The card measures 6×9. I used a Bazzill shimmer Cardstock for the background and used the Campin Critters cartridge to cut out the mountain scen as well as the desert scene. I used an oval Sizzix die to create the sky for each scenery. I used my Slice and the Wedding design card to cut our the name.
For the sentiments I used two different stamp sets from CardzTv; “Simply Said” and “Ticket Talk 2”.
Thanks for looking! Have a great week!
