Smile Card

Smile Card

Happy Friday! Here is my card I created for two challenges. The first one is the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #75 A Splash of Color. For this challenge we were to use the color yellow in our project.

The other challenge is the Cricut Cardz Challenge #90 Card Crazy. For this challenge we were to make a card using the card feature from any cartridge and any color and theme. Well, here is what I came up with.

Smile Card 1

I used the Sentimentals Cartridge to create my card. I used my Gypsy so I could get it to be approximately 5-3/4 x 5-3/4 inches. I used the same cartridge to cut the blue background. I also cut the cream colored scalloped label from the same cartridge as well.

Smile Card 2

The design paper is from Crate Paper’s Toy Box Line. The yellow print mat measures 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 inches. I the layered on the blue stamp shape background piece.

I stamped my Smile sentiment on a piece of solid light yellow cardstock and layered it onto my cream colored scallop tag. I punched out a butterfly from the blue design paper. I added a prima flower with a button center and wrapped some blue twine around the side.

Smile Card 3

I added a yellow mat to the inside of the card and a small punched butterfly from the blue design paper.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous weekend!
