Happy Labor Day! Hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend! I love the new Bo Bunny Et Cetera Paper Collection so I was thrilled to get the opportunity to create a design team project for my local scrapbook store. I decided to create a couple of 12×12 layouts. All of the papers used are from the collection with the exception of the solid brown cardstock which is from American Crafts.
For the first layout I created a pocket and added a tag with a photo. I placed the journaling spot on the front of the pocket. I fussy cut the scalloped photo mat from the design paper and cut my photo to fit. I added the music note tag behind the scalloped photo mat. (Click photo to enlarge)
I did use my Tim Holtz distress tool to distress the edges of my tags, title, and background layers. I added some bling and buttons from the collection along with some brown satin ribbon.
For the second layout I wanted to showcase three photos. Using my threading water Fiskars Edge Punch I added a border to the top and bottom of the solid brown mat. I added another tag that I cut from the collection to the top of the page and some more buttons and satin ribbon to the bottom of the page. The three photo mats were distressed with the Tim Holtz distress tool. (Click photo to enlarge)
This paper collection is really pretty and would be great if you have some heritage photos that you wanted to scrap.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!
