Hey everyone, just want to share my entry for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. The challenge was “Piece of Cake”. We were to make a project with a cupcake, or piece of cake, or any other baked good so I decided to create a card. Here is what I came up with.
My card measures 5 x 6-1/2 inches. I used the Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge for the Cupcake on the front of my card. The cupcake is cut at 4 inches.
I used all of the layers including the shadow, however when I cut the shadow I didn’t want too much of the shadow to show so I cut the shadow piece a little smaller. The solid purple mat measures 4-3/4 x6-1/4 inches. The green patterned layer measures 4-1/2 x 6 inches. The butterfly printed mat measures 4-1/4 x 5-3/4 inches.
I added some ribbon trim to the top of my card and tied on a tiny tag with some twine from The Twinery and added a sticker that says “sweet”.
I used My Mind’s Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky patterned paper for my card and the cupcake. Once my card was finished I added some Cotton Candy Stickles to the cupcake frosting!
Well, that’s it! Thanks for stopping by!

This card is so sweet! I love the Sweet Treats cartridge, I have it too. I love the papers you used, they are so pretty together. Using multiple patterned papers can be tricky, but you did it perfectly!
Thanks for playing along with us this week at FCCB!
