Well here it is Thursday and I wanted to share the card I created for the challenge over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. The challenge for this week was to use the colors red, white, and blue on a project.
I used the Cricut Wild Card cartridge for the card. I cut it at 5-1/4 inches on the blackout feature. For the card layers I wanted to have an extra piece of red showing around the star so I cut the layers out at 4-1/4 inches. I used my Gypsy to hide some of the contours on the layers.
For the inside of the card I used the We R Memory Keepers Yankee Doodles design paper. The inside sentiment and the little tag on the front are all from the Yankee Doodles paper line.
And yes, I had to add a little bling to the front. I also wrapped some twine around the star and tied a bow.
There you have it! Thanks for stopping by!
