New Baby Girl Chipboard Mini Album

New Baby Girl Chipboard Mini Album

Happy Friday! Just want to share a mini album I made for a gal in our church who is having a baby girl. I used paper from My Minds Eye called Alphabet Soup. It comes in a boy version and a girl version. Of course I have both!

New Baby Girl Chipboard Mini Album 1

I cut my chipboard to 5-1/2 x 6 then ran each page through my Big Shot using a Tim Holtz On The Edge Die. I wanted each page to have a different shape so I used a different edge for each page. The nice thing about the decorative edge dies is that most of them have two different cuts on one die.

I kept this mini album really simple by limiting my embellishments and just used simple tags and photo mats.

I created some tags and small embellishments with my Cricut using a couple different cartridges.

I used some of the die cuts from the paper collection as well.

I did add some small Recollections roses and Bo Bunny ribbon on the binding.

I don’t think the new Mommy is a scrapbooker so I didn’t want to overwhelm her with too much stuff. I used a simple “Baby” rub on for the title and chipboard label I had in my stash.

DCWV Cotton Bloom Stack TP Mini Album

DCWV Cotton Bloom Stack TP Mini Album

Hey everyone, just want to share another mini I made. This is a TP mini album. My sister asked me to make a small mini for her as a gift for a friend who is retiring. She requested I use her friends favorite color which is orange.

I had purchased the DCWV Cotton Bloom Stack quite a while back and thought this paper would be perfect for this mini.

I really love the bright orange and green color combination. I kept it pretty simple so as not to overwhelm my sisters’ friend. She requested the tags be left blank so she could do some journaling.

I used some Prima flowers on the front and a cute butterfly charm from My Minds Eye on the binding. I added some fun ribbons as well.

More Graduation Cards

More Graduation Cards

Hey everyone, just want to share a couple more graduation cards. These cards were quick to make. I went through my stash of scraps and found some Echo Park Paper from the Be Mine Collection.

That collection is one of my all time favorites so I saved every piece of scrap paper there was! The card measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. The black mat is 4 x 5-1/4 and the pink design paper is 3-3/4 x 5.

I added a piece of black satin ribbon across the top and tied a bow with a strip of white organza. I added a couple of pink buttons to the ribbon also and some flat back pearls to the bottom of the card. I had a pre-stamped label in my stash so all I needed to do was trim it out and stamp Congratulations. Of course it needed some bling for sparkle.

The next card was created using a piece of design paper from DCWV’s Black Currant Collection. Again, the card measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inches. The black mat is 4 x 5-1/4 and the design paper is 3-3/4 x 5.

I added some pink pearls to the centers of some of the flowers and a piece of ivory satin ribbon at the top of the card. I used some small gray roses that are from Recollections and created the leaves using my Martha Stewart Rose Leaf Punch. I punched out a label and stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card.

I did add a tiny little bling to the sentiment. What can I say, I couldn’t help myself!

Simple Stamped Graduation Card

Simple Stamped Graduation Card

Happy Friday! Just want to share another Graduation Card. This one is for another guy. I think I need to make more guy cards! The card measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inches. The black mat is 4x 5-1/4 and the diamond design paper measures 3-3/4 x 5.

Simple Stamped Graduation Card

The strip of red is actually a border sticker from Cosmo Cricket that I had in my stash and cut it to the length I wanted. I stamped a clock face with a stamp set from Tattered Angels Traveler Collection.

I also stamped Congratulations on a small piece of solid red cardstock and layered it in the front of the card with some foam tape for dimension.

I added a piece of design paper to the inside of the card to finish it off and another small strip of the red border sticker.

Congratulations Graduation Card

Congratulations Graduation Card

Hey everyone, just wanted to share some graduation cards I made. This card is pretty simple, but it’s for a guy so I wanted to keep it streamlined. I used some leftover Graphic 45 paper for the background.

Congratulations Graduation Card

The card measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. The black mat is 4 x 5-1/4 and the design paper is 3-3/4 x 5. I added a 3/4 inch strip of the reverse side of the paper to the bottom then added some labels with foam tape. I used an EK Success punch for the brown label and the red label on top is actually a die cut that I had in my stash.

I stamped the sentiment “You Did It” on the inside.

July 4 Mini Album

July 4 Mini Album

Happy Wednesday! Just want to share another Design Team project I created for my local scrapbook store. I used the WeR Memory Keepers Yankee Doodle 6×6 paper pad.

July 4 Mini Album 6

July 4 Mini Album 1

The small size papers are great for making mini albums. I used a Sizzix scallop square die to create the album shape. The square is approximately 4 inches.
