Happy Friday! Just want to share a mini album I made for a gal in our church who is having a baby girl. I used paper from My Minds Eye called Alphabet Soup. It comes in a boy version and a girl version. Of course I have both!
I cut my chipboard to 5-1/2 x 6 then ran each page through my Big Shot using a Tim Holtz On The Edge Die. I wanted each page to have a different shape so I used a different edge for each page. The nice thing about the decorative edge dies is that most of them have two different cuts on one die.
I kept this mini album really simple by limiting my embellishments and just used simple tags and photo mats.
I created some tags and small embellishments with my Cricut using a couple different cartridges.
I used some of the die cuts from the paper collection as well.
I did add some small Recollections roses and Bo Bunny ribbon on the binding.
I don’t think the new Mommy is a scrapbooker so I didn’t want to overwhelm her with too much stuff. I used a simple “Baby” rub on for the title and chipboard label I had in my stash.
Have great weekend. Thanks for stopping by!
