Hey everyone, just want to share a couple more graduation cards. These cards were quick to make. I went through my stash of scraps and found some Echo Park Paper from the Be Mine Collection.
That collection is one of my all time favorites so I saved every piece of scrap paper there was! The card measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. The black mat is 4 x 5-1/4 and the pink design paper is 3-3/4 x 5.
I added a piece of black satin ribbon across the top and tied a bow with a strip of white organza. I added a couple of pink buttons to the ribbon also and some flat back pearls to the bottom of the card. I had a pre-stamped label in my stash so all I needed to do was trim it out and stamp Congratulations. Of course it needed some bling for sparkle.
The next card was created using a piece of design paper from DCWV’s Black Currant Collection. Again, the card measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inches. The black mat is 4 x 5-1/4 and the design paper is 3-3/4 x 5.
I added some pink pearls to the centers of some of the flowers and a piece of ivory satin ribbon at the top of the card. I used some small gray roses that are from Recollections and created the leaves using my Martha Stewart Rose Leaf Punch. I punched out a label and stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card.
I did add a tiny little bling to the sentiment. What can I say, I couldn’t help myself!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous weekend!
