Hello everyone, I am participating in a mini album swap over on the scrap beach. The theme for the mini album was Vintage Mothers Day and we were to make the mini using six coin envelopes. We also received kits from five other ladies and the challenge was to take the supplies we were given and make a mini.
Needless to say, I was overwhelmed with all of the beads and stuff that the other ladies provided. Here’s what I created. My swap partner asked me to not use any “Mother” stuff in the mini as she said her Mom doesn’t really like crafty things so she wanted to give the mini as a gift to a friend.
Hey everyone, just want to share another card that I made for the Mothers Day Color Challenge over at Cardztv. The challenge was to use the colors blue, green, purple, and white on a project for Mothers Day.
I used the Mothers Day Bouquet Cricut Seasonal Cartridge to cut out the flowers and the leaves for my A2 size card. The solid cardstock is from American Crafts and the green cardstock is Bo Bunny. The flowers were cut from a piece of Little Yellow Bicycle’s Laundry Line. The satin ribbon was from a ribbon swap.
I added another smaller flower to the inside of the card.
Happy Wednesday! Here’s a video of another paper bag mini album. I was going through my crop bag and came across this paper from My Minds Eye Abbey Road collection. I totally forgot I had bought this fun kit and decided to use it to make a paper bag mini album with the Celebrate It paper bags from Michaels. It was fun doing a boy-themed mini album. I hope you like it.
Hello everyone, I just wanted to share a card that I made for the weekly challenge over on the Cricut Circle Blog. The challenge was to make a flower and use it on a project. I decided to make a Mothers Day card.
I used the Mothers Day Bouquet Cricut Cartridge for the flower and the Nursery Tales Cricut Imagine Cartridge for the blue scallop border and the top background layer.
I love how I can use my Imagine to just cut images. The paper I used for the flower is from K&Co. The ribbon trim and solid cardstock are from American Crafts. I did use my Martha Stewart leaf punch for the leaves. The Happy Mothers Day stamp is from Inkadinkadoo. My card measures 5-1/2 x 4-1/14 inches. Thanks for looking!
Hello everyone, just wanted to share a card that I made for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. The challenge was to make a project with a bunny or a chick on it. This is my entry.
I made an A2 size card using my Cricut Imagine Nursery Tales cartridge and the Cricut Mothers Day Bouquet cartridge. The scallop circle was cut at 3-1/2 inches and flood filled with the pink from the Nursery Tales cartridge. The bunny tag is also from the Nursery Tales cartridge and cut at 3 inches.
The background paper is from K&Co and measures 4x 5-1/4. The green ribbon trim is from American Crafts. I used the Mothers Day Bouquet cartridge and cut out the small yellow flower at 1.2 inches. I just set my Imagine to the cut only setting so I could cut out the flower. I used a Martha Stewart leaf punch for the leaves and added a button to the center of the flower.
The butterfly stamp is also from K&Co. I inked all of the edges of my card with coordinating distress inks.
Hey everyone, here is a video of a paper bag album that I made using the Bo Bunny Gabrielle paper line. This mini album was inspired by Kathy Orta’s video of her Random Memories Paper Bag Mini Album. Kathy did a whole video series showing you how she put her album together. She is truly amazing! I hope you like my version.
Hey everyone, here is a video of my Happy Birthday Brag Book. I saw Kathy Orta’s video of her Ultimate Brag Book and knew I wanted to make one for my Grandson’s birthday photos. Kathy did a USTREAM class showing how she created this mini book.
