Happy Friday! I signed up for another swap over at the scrap beach. This is another two part swap. Each swap member is to put together a kit using the theme Vintage Mothers Day. Here’s what I put together.
This kit is for a coin envelope mini album.
I will send off my kits to the swap hostess and receive kits back from the other swap participants. This type of swap is really fun.
Hey everyone, just want to share the last 6×6 mini album pages I received from the Northwest Paper Chase. I did go to a couple of stores on my own, one on Friday before I met up with my sister and niece, and the other store on my way back home Sunday.
My first stop was at Scrapville in Snohomish and their movie theme was Toy Story. They had the option of purchasing a second page so you could have a two page layout.
Of course, that’s what I did. Here’s their two page layout.
On the way home from my awesome weekend I stopped at Stampin’ in the Rain in Bothell. Their movie was none other than Singin’ in the Rain! And let me tell you it was definitely raining!
Their mini page was finished on both sides. One side contained the words to the song. How cute is that! I really liked the music-note paper they used for the background. (It’s from Kaiser Craft.)
That’s it! Now all I have to do is put all the pages together and I’ll have my completed mini album. We had a blast! Thanks for letting me share all of the pages. I hope you enjoyed it!
Happy Wednesday! Just wanted to share the remainder of the mini pages from my Northwest Paper Chase weekend. These pages are from the stores we visited on Saturday.
The first stop was an awesome store, The Scrapbook Nook in Kent. Their movie was “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” I really like this little page. They even had a stamp available so we could stamp a “W” on our paper chocolate bar as well as a “Golden Ticket!” I did add some glossy accents to the stamped Willy Wonka phrase. It was really hard to leave this store. We got some really fabulous scrappy stuff!
The second stop was Unique Creations Stamp & Scrap, also in Kent. Their movie was “Driving Miss Daisy.” They had the cutest photo op set up. It was a shopping cart all decked out with yellow daisies as well as a Miss Daisy Mannequin. Here is my sister and niece at the photo op.
Their mini page was really cute also.
Next we headed over to Gig Harbor and the store Toadilly Scrappin. Their movie theme was “Harry Potter.” They have a really nice store and we got tons of goodies.
Next we went to Craft Savvy, also in Gig Harbor. Their movie was Princess and the Frog. They even had the movie playing in the store while we shopped. Clever idea! They were still working on their mini page so it is being sent to me in the mail.
The last stop for the day was Scrap That in Fircrest. Their movie was The Twilight Saga. Their store was really pretty. It was all done in a shabby chic theme along with some awesome chandeliers! There was even a chandelier that had shoes. If you have seen the Teacup chandeliers its the same thing only with shoes! It was amazing.
They also had their movie playing in the store. Their page was really cute as well. I did glimmer mist the letters with “Santa Baby” mist before I glued them down to add some shimmer.
Well that was the final store that we visited for the day.
We headed back to the hotel to admire all of our fabulous purchases and get some crop time in! Needless to say we had a blast! My niece and I cropped until 1:30 AM! Tons of fun!
Thanks for stopping by! The Northwest Paper Chase is still going on. It runs through March 27. There are 18 participating stores! Hmmm… wonder if I can sneak out again to a few more stores?
Hey everyone! I’m rested up from the most amazing scrapbook weekend. My sister, niece, and I did the Northwest Paper Chase. Each of the participating stores did a 6×6 mini album page, and selected a movie as their theme.
First stop was Hip 2 B Square in Snoqualmie. Her movie was “Confessions of a Shopaholic…” Here is the mini page from this store.
Next stop was the Mad Scrapper in Issaquah. Their movie theme was “Alice in Wonderland.” Here’s their page*.
*(I forgot to take a photo of their sample so I just created my own version.)
The last stop of the day was Ben Franklin Crafts in Redmond. Their movie was “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.” Here is their mini album page.
While we were there, we got to do a photo op with their movie theme prop. Too much fun!
Come back tomorrow and I will share the pages from the stores we visited the next day! Thanks for stopping by!
Hey everyone, hope you are having a great weekend! I know I am! The Northwest Paper Chase started Friday, so me, my sister and my niece are shop hopping at all the local participating scrapbook stores this weekend!
I’m on the hunt for some fabulous new goodies! I made myself not buy any supplies until this weekend. So now it’s time to let the fun begin!
Happy Friday! Here is a video of my very first TWS Mini Album, it’s an album Swap for the scrap beach. This swap is for the month of March and the theme is “Green”. I incorporated the color green as well as some repurposed items into this paper bag mini album.
Happy Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by! Here is a super quick card that I made.
This card was really easy. I let the background designer paper do most of the work for me.
All that I did to finish this card was add a butterfly that was punched with the Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch, a flower that was created with a scallop circle punch and regular circle punch, and some ribbon trim to the bottom. Of course I had to add just a few Stickles for sparkle.
Super quick and I really like how this card turned out.
Have a great day!
Designer paper – Basic Grey Urban Prairie
White cardstock – Bazzill
Colored Cardstock – American Crafts
Ribbon – May Arts
Twine – The Twinery
Here is a really cute Party Time card made using the Once Upon A Princess Cricut Cartridge. The card base is an A2 size kraft cardstock. The background designer paper is from K&Co Confetti Collection. The Chick was cut at 3-1/2 inches and the edges were all inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Scattered Straw.
I added a layered punched flower to the top of the party hat along with some pink bling.
The pink ruffle trim is from May Arts. The twine in the buttons is from The Twinery.
The inside sentiment was cut from the same cartridge. The phrase and shadow were cut at 1-3/4 inches. The solid colored cardstocks are all from American Crafts.
Hello everyone! Spring is in the air! Well, I’m hoping anyway. Here is another Spring card that was made with the Songbird Cricut Cartridge.
This is an A2 size card that measures 4-1/4 by 5-1/2 inches. The watering can was cut at 3-1/2 inches. It actually has a bird perched on top but I cut it off so I could add the flower.
The background paper is a Bo Bunny Dot Paper and was cut at 4 by 5-1/4 inches. The outside flower petal is made from a 2 inch scallop circle punch. I added a 1-1/2 inch circle and 1 inch circle to the scallop to create the flower.
The stem is just a strip of green cardstock. A button with twine was added to the very center of the flower. The bee tag on the watering can was from the We R Memory Keepers Hippity Hoppity Paper pad as well as the Spring tag.
