In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, I made a pink Bloom card. I used the Country Life Cricut Cartridge to cut out the pitcher that’s holding the flowers.
The word Bloom was cut using the Storybook cartridge and the pink ribbon was cut using the Pink Journey cartridge. I used my Gypsy to make all the cuts at once. I love how the Gypsy lets you do that.
The card is a standard A2 size, which is 4 ¼ x5 ½. The word Bloom was cut at 1 ½ inches and the pitcher of flowers was cut at 3 ½ inches. I used some Anna Griffin paper for the card background and AC Moore pink cardstock for the card base.
This card is in honor of all the amazing women who have been touched by this horrible disease
Just wanted to share this little chipboard dress that I made for my sister’s birthday. The apron opens up and you can place a photo inside.
The chipboard dress and vintage hanger are from Crafty Secrets. They make a cute little boy outfit also.
Let me know what you think.
Happy Monday! I just wanted to share a birthday card that I made for a friend who is turning 50.
Happy 50 Birthday Card
I used my gypsy to cut the 50 and happy birthday. I love how you can design your card on the Gypsy using multiple cartridges. For this card I used Storybook for the 50 and Once Upon a Princess for the sentiment. The paper is from Making Memories Sabrina collection as well as AC Moore cardstock.
Happy 50 Birthday Card Inside
I designed the Thanksgiving card on my Gypsy using the Create-a-Critter cartridge. I thought he needed a bow tie so I added some ribbon to the front. I used my white gel pen and did some faux stitching around his feathers and hay. I popped Mr. Turkey up with some foam tape to add dimension and inked all of my edges. I stamped the sentiment, Happy Thanksgiving, on the inside and added a fall leaf stamp to the front of the card as well.
Well, I better get my birthday card in the mail. Thanks for looking and as always, please leave me a comment. Thanks!!
Hello everyone, just wanted to share with you a card I made with my new Imagine machine. The artwork is from the “Best Friends”cartridge where I used the layer feature. I used craft cardstock for the base of my card.
I glimmer misted some prima flowers and added some DCWV ribbon. I accented the leaves and the bird’s wing with some glossy accents, inked all of the edges, and used some foam tape to give the card even more dimension.
Well, let me know what you think. Have a great day!
Wow, ok.. so it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. My apologies, but with all of the awesome Circle SWARM prizes I won it’s been an overwhelming week!
The Salt Lake City Swarm was amazing. The sponsors make-n-takes were fabulous. I loved them all. The Halloween treat box/bag was darling so I decided to come home and make a few.
Here’s my version of the treat box that we made at the SWARM.
Let me know your thoughts!
Check back later for a sneek peak at my first Cricut Imagine projects. It’s been a lot of fun playing with this amazing machine! I promise not to wait so long to update my blog.
I WON a Cricut Imagine at the Cricut Circle Swarm in Salt Lake City today. This is the best day ever!
My Cricut Imagine also came with card stock donated by American Crafts. Thank you Provocraft and American Crafts!
Ginger, my wife, went to the Cricut Circle pre-Swarm dinner last night after we spent the whole day traveling to Salt Lake City. I snapped this picture after the event. She was going to write a blurb about the dinner, but konked out from exhaustion so nary a word was written.
I guess there were around 100 people there and I got blamed for keeping her from getting a prize. You see they gave prizes to all the ladies that brought their husbands. She also informed me that every woman she talked to had purchased the Cricut Imagine from the recent HSN launch event, like it was my fault.
Anyway, I dropped her off this morning at the Cricut Circle Swarm where there was a long line to get in. She had a quick access pass from the dinner, so I hope that helped. I didn’t stick around. Today’s event lasts from 9am to 9pm. Ginger is really excited.
Anyway, just wanted to get the picture up. Nice hat, don’t you think?
Yes, It’s true!!! I’m off on a road trip with the hubs to Salt Lake City. I am soooo excited.
Provocraft is having their very first Cricut Circle Swarm and I got a ticket to attend this awesome event. It is going to be so much fun. Hubby and I left this afternoon and here we are at our first stop in Hermiston, Oregon.
Here’s a picture of my calling card.
This is how they identify us for prizes and other goodies. We each got to come up with our own design. So this was mine… I think I have about 100. (not yet finished, working on them in the hotel room.)
I had my original ones completed and ready to go then after searching the message board over at cricut.com I saw photos of some of the other circlets and decided this morning I needed to do something different. So, yes I’m flying by the seat of my pants. LOL!
There are some fun swaps that will take place at the Swarm. There’s a ribbon swap, a tag swap, and treats. My tags are all completed, and here’s a picture.
And my ribbon is almost ready. (yep, gonna have to cut it in the car while we are driving tomorrow.)
The plan is to arrive in Salt Lake City tomorrow afternoon with my calling cards completed! Then it’s off to a fun dinner with other Circle members.
Well, better get to bed, gotta get up early and hit the road tomorrow!
Happy Monday everyone!
Just wanted to share a few more cards that I made with the Create A Critter Cricut cartridge. I love this cartridge, everything is so adorable. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
Have a fabulous day!
Greetings everyone, and welcome to my first blog post. After lots of encouragement from friends and family members I finally decided to take the plunge and share some of my creations.
I have learned from so many amazingly talented people in the scrapbooking world and for that I am eternally grateful. So for my first post I just wanted to share a few cards that I have made recently.
The Halloween cards were made with the DCWV Midnight Spell paper stack as well as bazzill cardstock. I also made a few cards with the Cricut Wild Card cartridge.
